Finalize the structure before finalizing the artwork
The dieline controls panel size, seals, zipper, valve, gussets, folds, and safe areas. Designing on an unconfirmed template can create expensive rework later.
Files to prepare
- Editable vector artwork in AI, EPS, or production-ready PDF
- Linked high-resolution images
- Outlined fonts or packaged font files
- Pantone or other agreed color references
- Barcode files and readable minimum sizes
Information to review
Check brand name, product name, net weight, ingredients, origin, roast or best-before area, barcode, recycling or disposal text, importer details, and any destination-market compliance copy.
Production proof checklist
- Artwork orientation and front/back panels
- Seal, trim, zipper, valve, and tear-notch clearance
- White ink, metallic, transparent, matte, and gloss areas
- Color expectations and acceptable production variation
- Final dimensions and SKU identification
Approve the final production proof in writing and keep the approved file with the order specification.
