Choose the format around the coffee and the sales channel
The best bag is not simply the one that looks most premium. It needs to fit the coffee density, fill weight, valve or zipper requirements, filling method, shelf presentation, carton plan, and destination.
Flat bottom valve pouch
A flat base and structured side panels create strong shelf presence and generous print areas. This format is often chosen for premium whole-bean coffee, subscriptions, and retail ranges.
Stand up pouch
A flexible option for beans, ground coffee, powders, and refill programs. Confirm usable volume, bottom gusset, zipper position, and the seal area above the closure.
Side gusset and quad seal bags
These formats work well for larger fills and traditional coffee presentation. Filling equipment, corner seals, valve location, and carton dimensions should be reviewed together.
Vacuum and single-serve formats
Vacuum packs, drip bags, capsule lidding, sachets, and stick packs use different sealing and secondary-packing systems. Machine compatibility and shelf-life targets matter more than appearance alone.
