A one-way valve is not added as a decorative option. It becomes part of the package system when freshly roasted coffee needs to release carbon dioxide from a sealed pouch while the laminate, seals, and closure maintain the intended protection.
Information we collect first
- Whole bean or ground coffee
- Roast profile and packing time after roasting
- Fill weight, bag dimensions, and expected headspace
- Manual or automated filling and any nitrogen-flush route
- Target freshness window and distribution conditions
What we configure
The valve type, opening and closing behavior, filter direction where applicable, installation method, hole, position, surrounding laminate, distance from seals and folds, and orientation on the artwork are reviewed together.
What we confirm on the pouch
A physical reference allows the team to check valve placement, panel flatness, gas release, seal interaction, filled appearance, and the relationship between the valve, zipper, artwork, and top seal. Production controls then connect the valve record to the approved film and bag-making order.
One system, not one component
The valve supports degassing; the laminate provides the specified barrier; the heat seals close the package; and the filled geometry provides the required headspace and presentation. The written specification keeps those functions connected.
